Too easy. This dessert is too easy. Its nearly on the same level as making jello, but still delicious. Just make sure to bake the crust for 8 minutes before filling with the filling.

Layered Chilled Chocolate Dessert

Crust
2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg, fork beaten

Filling
2 envelopes dessert topping (or whipped topping)
2/3 cups milk
8 oz cream cheese softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 package instant chocolate pudding powder
1 1/2 cups milk

Mix all crust ingredients until crumbly. Press into ungreased 9"x13" pan and bake at 350F for 15 minutes or until edges are golden.

Beat dessert topping and 2/3 cups milk until stiff peaks form. Beat cream cheese and brown sugar in a separate bowl until smooth. Fold in 1/2 of previous mixture and spread over cooled crust. Beat pudding powder and 1 1/2 cups milk until smooth. Spoon over cream cheese mixture and chill for 5 minutes until set. Sprinkle chocolate over dessert topping, chill 3 to 4 hours.
